BJC’s workforce encompasses 17 hospitals with multiple departments creating 170 versions of acknowledgements when honoring employee’s service to the hospital.
Designed a program allowing the upload of one data file with variables to drive service acknowledgements customized for each employee.
The on-line program allowed for client log-in capabilities to create a customized certificate with individual hospital branding, employee recognition with their level of service, identify the employee’s supervisor, and offer a choice of service pin or badge and frame. BJC was spending 20 to 30 days to process each employee’s service request and this program reduced that time to five days. Once the submission was made on-line, the system rendered a print file sent to a digital printer which generated a proof. After the proof was approved, the employee service award was assembled. Each award included a customized letter, brochure, certificate/frame, service pin/badge presented in a gift box and then sent to the individual or hospital for a ceremony.
